Charles Laverne Robbins, 71, of Rushville died at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2004, at Astoria Gardens & Rehab Center in Astoria.
He was born April 7, 1932, in Swan Creek Township, Warren County, a son of William Brian James and Verna Muffin Robbins. He married Anna Friday on March 2, 1957, in Frederick. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Randy (and Mary) of Rushville; two grandchildren; one sister, Eileen Boyd of Bloomington; five half sisters, Linda Robbins of Springfield, Phyllis Dodds of Adair, Joann Estelle of New Jersey, Cathy Reeder of Oklahoma and Patsy Creasey of Jacksonville; and one half brother, David of Astoria.
He was a lifelong farmer.
Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Rose Ross officiating. Burial will be in Rushville City Cemetery.
