Lyle Richey

Lyle Richey, 70, of Anderson, Ind., formerly of Vermont died June 16, 2010.

He was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Schuyler County, a son of Walter and Marie Teel Richey.

Surviving are two daughters, Carmella Walker of Florida and Keisha Ellen Johns of Anderson, Ind.; one son, Anson Kyle Sylvanus Richey of Indianapolis, Ind.; five brothers, Willard Richey, Jim Richey, Keith Richey and Ted Richey, all of Vermont and Walter “Bud” Richey of New Philadelphia; one sister, Mary Ann Plate of Adair; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosa Marie Osborn, Nelda Reid and Linda Short; and one brother, Charles Richey.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

A celebration of life was held June 26, 2010, at the home of Willard and Betty Richey of Vermont. Family and friends came from Florida, Indiana, Missouri and Illinois.
