Mildred D. Roosa, 84, of Lewistown died at 8:40 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003, at her home.
She was born July 14, 1918, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Harry and Frances McLaren Parr. She married James Roosa on Dec. 21, 1938, in Astoria.
Surviving are one son, Gale (and Linda) of Ipava; one daughter, Dixie (and Gene) Snyder of East Peoria; two sisters, Winifred McCormick and Kathryn Bartley, both of Fort Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister.
She was a homemaker.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Ken Peterson officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
