Doris Ilene Rogers, 81, of Mammoth Spring, Ark., formerly of Canton, died at 1:09 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, in Mammoth Spring.
She was born April 25, 1920, in Astoria, a daughter of Earnest and Chloe Stone France. She married Wayne Rogers on April 7, 1947, in Olathe, Kan. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Janet (and Tony) Avripas of Macomb; one son, Ted (and Sherrie) Clarke of Mammoth Spring; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jean (and Lyman) Heavenridge of Richmond, Va., Dorothy Knight of Quincy, Wilma "Babe" Bassett of Macomb and Phyllis (and Dick) Martin of Vermont; and one brother, Merle (and Helen) France of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. today at Astoria Cemetery in Astoria with B.J. Clarke officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
