Janet Avripas, 62, of Macomb died at 6:58 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born June 23, 1940, in Augusta, a daughter of Robert H. and Ilene France Clarke. She married Robert "Tony" Avripas on Sept. 10, 1976, in Industry. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jeff Hinderliter of Vermont; three daughters, Kim Augustine of the state of Tennessee, Paula Havenstredt of Tulsa, Okla., and Paige Jacobs of Crest Hill; seven grandchildren; and one brother, Ted Clarke of Arkansas.
She worked at Mr. Steak in Macomb, Sturhan Jewelers and was a former manager of Greenview Estates Mobile Homes.
Cremation was accorded. Piper-Wallen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.
