John L. Ruth, Canton Barber, Died Wednesday

John LeRoy Ruth, a Canton barber and resident of the Churchill hotel, died Wednesday evening in the Graham hospital where he had been a patient two days. Ill the last two years, he had lived in that city 30 years.

Born Aug. 20, 1888, in Table Grove, a son of John A. and Sarah (King) Ruth, he was married to Della Cassel who preceded him in death in 1923.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Myers, Outlook, Wash., Mrs. Maggie Miller, Springfield, a brother, Harve Ruth, of DeKalb and many nieces and nephews. Eight brothers and sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren church.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria, by the Rev. J. E. Sibert. Burial in the Astoria cemetery.
