She was born Dec. 28, 1929, in Bluff City, a daughter of Sherman S. “Shy” and Beulah F. Belville Palmer. She married Clifford Parry on Feb. 9, 1947, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on Sept. 9, 2014.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Palmer, Herbert Palmer and Allan Palmer; and one sister, Dora Fox.
Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Parsano and Tammy (and Anthony) Baldry; two brothers, Larry Palmer and Jerry Palmer; one sister, Eva Trone; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She and her husband were owner and operator’s of Parry Saw Mill and Cliff’s Auto Parts store in Astoria.
Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matthew Thiner officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
