BEULAH F. (BELVILLE) PALMER

Beulah Palmer

Beulah F. Palmer, 92, of Astoria, died at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 1998, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Oct. 30, 1905, in Browning, a daughter of Elmer and Daisy Skiles Belville. She married Sherman S. “Shy” Palmer on April 14, 1923, in Palmyra, Mo. He died July 10, 1997. Three sons, five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are three daughters, Eva Trone of Rushville, Glenna Parry of Astoria and Dora Fox of Beardstown; two sons, Larry of Catoosa, Okla., and Jerry of Forreston; two sisters, Juanita Genseal of Turlock, Calif., and Wanda Gerard of Gilmore City, Iowa; 31 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Astoria Assembly of God Church.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Clifford Parry and Reggie Stambaugh officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
