Bonnie O’Shea Of Pekin Dies

Bonnie M. O’Shea, 81, died at 2:33 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 1990, at Brokaw Hospital in Normal.

For the past six years she had lived at 11 Avenue B, Hilltop Trailer Court, in Bloomington.

Born April 2, 1908, in Astoria, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Dutton, she first married Clarence Cross in Peoria on July 3, 1930. He died April 23, 1963. She married Thomas O’Shea in Peoria in 1978 and he died in 1983. Four brothers also preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Lou Williams of Bloomington; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Kathryn Bates of Beardstown and Fern Geiman of Astoria; and one brother, Homer Dutton of Monmouth.

For 25 years, she worked in the bottling department at American Distilling, retiring in 1973. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Pekin and Ladies of the Moose.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Glendale Memorial Gardens with Clifford Rowe officiating. Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
