She was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Beardstown, a daughter of William Henry and Ila Adeline Fritz Swan.
Surviving are four children, Troy Swan of Astoria, Monty (and Sherrie) McCombs of Lewistown, Martin Maher of Jefferson City, Mo., and Maggie (and Casey) Holland of Clinton; two brothers, Harold Swan and Henry Swan; one sister, Virginia Hood; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ila Swan; and siblings, Perry Swan, Charles Swan, Willa Fisher, Robert Swan and Jim Swan.
A small service will be announced at a later date. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
