Robert Andrew Swan, 68, of Beardstown died July 3, 2008, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
He was born May 29, 1940, in Beardstown, a son of William H. and Ila A. Fritz Swan. He married Alice Smith.
Surviving are one son, Andrew Robert “AndyBob” (and Lori) Swan of Vermont; two brothers, Harold E. (and Sherry) Swan of Beardstown and Henry (and Mary) Swan of Savanna; three sisters, Willa J. (and Richard) Fisher of Summum, Virginia D. Hood of Beardstown and Nancy J. Maher of Osage Beach, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Perry L. Swan, Charles W. Swan and James F. Swan.
He was a commercial fisherman working alongside his brother, Perry.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at Beardstown Marina. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown is in charge of arrangements.
