Linda L. Flynn McCarty died June 20, 2023, at her home.
She was born in Pontiac, Mich., a daughter of Leonard and Caryl Wheeler Flynn. She married Gene McCarty in 1961. He survives.
Also surviving are four children, Kristy (and Ryan) Chiles, Genia (and Mark) Bollmann, Brad (and Missy) McCarty and Stacy (and Kyle) Steele; two sisters; and 25 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charlie Flynn; one sister, Shirley (Flynn) Keithly; and two grandchildren.
She moved with her family to Vermont when she was age 14. She graduated from VIT High School in 1961.
