Leonard M. Flynn, 81, of Mt. Carmel, a former Vermont resident, died at 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 16, 1995, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Mt. Carmel.
Arrangements are pending at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.

Leonard M. Flynn, 81, a former Vermont resident, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 1995, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Mount Carmel.
He was born Feb. 16, 1914, in Chestline, Adams County, a son of William and Eva Turner Flynn. He married Caryl L. Wheeler on June 5, 1934, in Macomb. She survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Shirley) Keithley of Fairview, Mrs. Robert (Jane) Wright and Mrs. Eugene (Linda) McCarty, both of Mount Carmel, and Joyce Belville of Macomb; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Emma Randall of Moline, Wilma Dean of Macomb and Ada Cox of California.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers, two sisters, one grandson and one great-grandson.
He owned and operated a television sales and repair business in Vermont for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Baptist Church.
Private services were held Friday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Jill Johnson-Scott officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
