Shirley A. Keithley, 68, of Fairview died at 8:40 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, 2004, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Dec. 13, 1935, in Chelsea, Mich., a daughter of Leonard M. and Caryl Louise Wheeler Flynn. She married Gene Keithley on Sept. 19, 1954, in Blandinsville. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sherry Branham of Galesburg, Tammy Dollar of Chewelah, Wash. and Julie (and John) Masterson of Elmwood; two sons, Steve (and Connie) of Fairview and Mike (and Tricia) of St. David; three sisters, Jane (and Robert) Wright of Mount Carmel, Linda (and Gene) McCarty of Chester and Joyce Cook of Canton; 13 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Flynn; and one grandson.
She worked for the Chicago Board of Trade and the Hemp Co., both in Macomb, and had been activity director and then administrator at the Nursing Center of Canton.
She was a member of Willow Grove United Methodist Church in Blandinsville.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 16, at 3:30 p.m. at Foster Cemetery in Fairview with Rev. David Swain officiating. There will be no visitation. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava is in charge of arrangements.
