She was born Dec. 19, 1950, in Buena Vista Township, Schuyler County, a daughter of Gene and Nedra Shores Lung. She married Dennis Morrell on Aug. 28, 1970, in Camden. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jamie Morrell of Rushville; one daughter, Melissa Morrell (and Brett) Lauher of Heyworth; one sister, Ruth (and Leonard) Johnson of Wayland, Mo.; one brother, Frank (and Clara) Lung of Rushville; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sharon Beadles and Kathryn Lee; and two brothers, Ronnie and Roy Lung.
A 1968 graduate of Rushville High School, she worked as a nursing aide with Home Health Care as long as her health permitted.
She was an active member of Rushville Assembly of God Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at her church with Rev. Terry Lucas officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
