He was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Buena Vista Township, Schuyler County, a son of Gene D. and Nedra M. Shores Lung. He married Clara Doyle on Sept. 10, 1967, in Warsaw. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Frank E. (and Chris) Lung III of Media and John M. (and Shirley) Lung of Mount Sterling; one sister, Ruth Johnson of Hamilton; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lung and Ronnie Lung; and three sisters, Kathryn Lee, Sharon Beadles and Sue Morrell.
He was a carpenter and general contractor of over 30 years and then a truck driver for over 20 years.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gray Cemetery near Camden with Rev. Patsy Spratt officiating. There will be no visitation. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
