Ronald LungRonald L. "Ronnie" Lung, 67, of Camden died at 1:05 p.m. Oct. 31, 2006, at home.

He was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Camden Township, Schuyler County, a son of Gene and Nedra Shores Lung.

Surviving is one stepson, Brian Shank of Arcadia Mo.; one stepdaughter, Crystal Mounce of Arcadia; two brothers, Roy (and Nancy) of Mount Sterling and Frank (and Clara) of Rushville; four sisters, Kathryn Lee of Warsaw, Ruth (and Leonard) Johnson of Hamilton, and Sharon (and John) Beadles and Sue (and Dennis) Morrell, both of Rushville.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, Bradley Shanks.

He served in the United States Army from March 29, 1962, to June 11, 1964, and was a member of Schuyler American Legion Post #4.

He had farmed and was a life-long master carpenter, retiring in 2000.

Services were held Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery with military rites accorded by representatives of the United States Army and Schuyler American Legion Post #4.

Memorials may be made to Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice or Schuyler Senior Citizens Center.
