She was born Sept. 17, 1946, at her parent’s home in Camden Township, Schuyler County, Illinois, a daughter of Gene and Nedra Shores Lung. She married John Beadles on June 3, 1972, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Allen Dale Lacy and Eric William Lacy, both of Mahomet; two daughters, Nedra Louise (and Michael) Fagan of Oxford, Iowa, and Sherri Lynn Beadles of Rushville; two stepdaughters, Cathy (and Gary) Spoon of Camden and Angie Beadles of Mount Sterling; one brother, Frank (and Clara) Lung of Rushville; three sisters, Kathryn Lee of Warsaw, Ruth (and Leonard) Johnson of Quincy and Sue (and Dennis) Morrell of Rushville; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Lung and Roy Lung.
She graduated from Rushville High School in 1964.
For the first 18 years of their marriage, she and John lived in Monticello. While in Monticello, she worked at Monticello Manor Nursing Home and was a member of First Baptist Church.
After moving back to Rushville in 1990, she worked as an in-home healthcare provider for many years before retiring due to ill health.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Rushville.
A celebration of her life was held Tuesday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
