Andrew Miller

Andrew E. Miller, 76, of rural Browning, died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, 1996, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Oct. 4, 1919, in Browning, a son of William Andrew and Mary Ann Beeghley Miller. He married Mildred Chockley on Aug. 17, 1941, in Browning. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Gary Miller and Gordon Miller, both of Browning; one daughter, Kay DeVore of Browning; one brother, David Miller of Browning; one sister, Susan Lind of Tremont; eight grandchildren, Sheila, Paul, Ben, Ryan, Brandy, Tami Jo, Aaron, and Curtis; and one great-grandson, Brian.

One brother preceded him in death.

He was a retired farmer and was baptized on Aug. 10, 1976, at Camp Emmanuel. He attended Astoria Church of the Brethren and Mud Valley German Baptist Church in Browning.

Funeral services were held this morning at Mud Valley German Baptist Church with Elder Orville Gish and Elder Arthur Cook officiating. Burial will be in Mud Valley Cemetery.

Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials mahy be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Mud Valley German Baptist Church.
