She was born April 17, 1923, in Bader, the daughter of William and Mary Miller. She married Donald "Don" Lind on April 9, 1950, in Astoria. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Andrew Miller.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy (and Jack) Beyer of Midland, Mich.; two sons, Ed (and Carol) Lind of Normal and John (and Kathy) Lind of Elgin; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was known for her baking. She was a volunteer at the Tremont Women’s Club to roll bandages for a Louisiana leper colony.
A graveside memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Astoria Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
