IRMA M. (SCROGUM) MALLERY

Irma Mallery

Irma M. Mallery, 84, formerly of Hanna City, died at 6:20 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 1995, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born April 10, 1911, in Astoria, a daughter of Andrew and Ina Carter Scrogum. She married Richard Mallery on March 29, 1931, in LaFayette. He died May 6, 1990, in Hanna City. She also was preceded in death by one grandson, one sister and two brothers.

Surviving are one son, Stanley P. of Edelstein; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Shirley) Lum of Honolulu, Hawaii; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Ruth) Sterling of Havana and Mrs. Ivan (Wilma) Weaver of Bloomington.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Farmington.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria, where visitation will be one hour before services. Rev. William Birch will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery in rural Mapleton.

Memorials may be made to the Hanna City Fire Department.
