John W. McKinley, 46, of Astoria died at 1:15 p.m. Friday, Mar. 12, 1982, at his home.
Born Dec. 15, 1925, in Beardstown, he was a son of Clarence and Naomi Painter McKinley.
He was a member of Astoria United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his parents of Astoria; one sister, Mrs. Betty Rhoades of DeKalb; one foster brother, Robert Danner of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and one nephew, James Rhoades. One brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. James Elder officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
