Sherman Miller, 77, Vermont, Dies

Sherman L. Miller, 77, of Vermont, died at 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 1975, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Mr. Miller was born Feb. 24, 1897, in Fulton County, the son of David and Annie Mae Horwedel Miller. He married Lulu Mae Kimmel at Lewistown, Jan. 22, 1920. She survives.

He was a farmer and a member of the McDonough Farm Bureau.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Galen (Rebecca) Stauffer of Green Valley and Mrs. Vernal (Mildred) Brown of Vermont; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Adams of Macomb and Mrs. Nellie R. Snowden of Vermont; and a brother, Marcus Miller of Canton. He was preceded in death by two daughters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. John Derry officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
