Charles Markley, father of Mrs. I. T. Danner of Astoria, died at the home of his son, Charles Markley at Roseville this morning. He was aged 83 years, 2 months and 4 days.
Cline Horton, undertaker, brought the remains to Astoria this forenoon for burial. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the U. B. church. Interment in the Ridgeville cemetery.
Three weeks ago Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Markley celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. I. T. Danner in Astoria.
The deceased was a brother of Abe Markley of near Summum.
