Finley McCormick, aged 82 years, prominent farmer, died Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at his home northwest of Astoria, following a brief illness.
While he had not been feeling well he only took to his bed Sunday.
Mr. McCormick was engaged in farming and owned quite a large tract of land.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Arthur, Verne and Ralph, all residing in that community. He is also survived by one brother, Emiziah, in California.
Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial in Salem cemetery.
