John “Terry” Lehman, 72, of Astoria died at 11:25 p.m. June 5, 2019, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.John “Terry” Lehman, 72, of Astoria died at 11:25 p.m. June 5, 2019, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.
He was born Sept. 16, 1946, in Canton, a son of Max and Lois Horton Lehman. He married Joyce Moody on Aug. 9, 1969, in Mount Sterling. She preceded him in death on Sept. 16, 2018.
Surviving are one daughter, Alicia Lehman of Astoria; one brother, Michael (and Carol) Lehman of Lansing, Kan.; and one granddaughter, Lily Lehman of Astoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
After his father’s death in 1976, Terry, along with Joyce, became owner and operator of the Sunshine Store in Astoria. After the closing of the Sunshine Store in 1987, they opened Studio Screens in Astoria.
He was a member of the Astoria Area Chamber of Commerce.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with David Little officiating. Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the memorial home.
