Young Mother Dies Saturday

Mrs. Clyde Lawver died at her home in Astoria, Saturday, aged 39 years and 6 days.

Mrs. Lawver was born at Smithfield, Ill., October 1, 1911, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Orwig.

She was united in marriage to Clyde Lawver, Sept. 29, 1932. To this union six children were born: Wayne, Dwane, Waneta, Janie, Jackie and Robert Clyde. Besides her husband and children she is survived by her father and stepdaughter, Mrs. Gene Westphall, two grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Elzie Lawver, Astoria, Mrs. Willis Parry, Browning and Mrs. Allen Courson, Abingdon. She was a member of the E. U. B. church.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the E. U. B. church in Astoria, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial in South Fulton cemetery.
