STELLA B. (DANNER) KINGERY

Former Summum Resident Dies

Mrs. Stella B. Kingery, 80, a former Summum resident, died Nov. 14 at the Henry County Convalescent Home near Cambridge after an illness of several years. She had resided in Pennsylvania for the past 10 years and had been a patient at the convalescent home for several months.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Summum Christian Church. Burial was in Summum Cemetery. The Rev. Joseph Gift conducted the services.

Mrs. Kingery was born in Summum on Aug. 25, 1881, a daughter of Jesse and Rebecca Lindsey Danner. She was married to Jesse Kingery in 1905. He died in 1938. She was a member of the Summum Christian Church and the Royal Neighbors.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hoffman of Charleston and Mrs. Ruth Mazza of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a son, Jess, of Alpha; two brothers, M. H. Danner of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Floyd E. Danner of Canton; a sister, Mrs. Matilda Demaree of Dayton, Ohio; a stepsister, Mrs. Phyllis Kost of Astoria; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A daughter, a brother, and a grandchild died previously.
