Robert (Bob) Hamm, 92, of Browning died at 1:42 a.m. May 14, 2025, at Beardstown Health and Rehab Center in Beardstown.
He was born May 3, 1933, in Browning, a son of Willis and Doris Lane Hamm. He married Rosemary Anderson on Nov. 14, 1953, in Browning. She preceded him in death on May 31, 2018.
He also was preceded in death by one son, Alan Hamm; and nine siblings, Betty, June, Ruth, Lois, Linda, Jon Leo, Roger, Richard and Charles.
Surviving are two sons, Keith (and Judy) Hamm and Doug Hamm, all of Browning; two grandchildren, Tracy Hamm (John Matthews) of Rushville and Ashley (and Jayme) Geary of Manito; and four great grandchildren.
He was a Korean Air Force Veteran serving from 1950-53. He was a member of Beardstown Elks Lodge #1007, Beardstown VFW and the Rivers Edge Boat Club.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. Pat Clements officiating. Burial was at Browning Cemetery with military honors by the Schuyler County American Legion Post #4 and U.S. Air Force Honor Detail.
Memorials may be made to the Browning Senior Center, Rushville Special Olympics or Schuyler County Humane Society.
