Rosemary HammRosemary L. “Rosy” Hamm, 82, of Browning died at 3:50 p.m. May 31, 2018, at Heritage Manor in Beardstown.

She was born Nov. 5, 1935, in Arenzville, a daughter of John and Caroline Bollhorst Anderson. She married Robert “Bob” Hamm on Nov. 14, 1953, in Browning. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Alan Hamm, Doug Hamm and Keith (and Judy) Hamm, all of Browning; three brothers, Dennis Anderson and Thomas Anderson, both of Arenzville, and William Anderson of Portland, Ore.; three sisters, Ellen Anderson of Arenzville, Davene (and Wayne) Miller of Decatur and Diane (and Gary) Barber of Chapin; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 13 brothers and sisters, Howard “Andy”, Ronald, David, John Randall Anderson, Eunice Anderson, Helene Knight, Pauline Vincent, Maxine Loeffler, Carolyn Stinson, Beverly Campbell and a set of twins.

She graduated from Arenzville High School with the class of 1953. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arenzville.

During her working career, she was employed at Beardstown Glove Factory, Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office and for her son at The Rivers Edge Restaurant.

Funeral services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Charla Meyers officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
