He was born June 23, 1940, in Sheldons Grove, a son of Willis and Doris Lane Hamm. He married Ann Coats in 1974.
Surviving are four sisters, Clara June Little and Lois (and Petie) Hamm, both of Browning and Bette Lybarger and Linda Pierson, both of Beardstown; two brothers, Robert (and Rosemary) Hamm of Browning and John Leo (and Dorothy) Hamm of Astoria.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Smith Bechard and Dolores Hamm; and two brothers, Richard and Charles Hamm.
He was a member of Laborer’s Local Union 165 for 46 years.
Graveside services were held Feb. 7 at Browning Cemetery. Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown was in charge of arrangements.
