She was born April 26, 1933. in Peoria, a daughter of Holly and Lola Watkins Green. She married Harold Horwedel on March 6, 1955, in Peoria Heights. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2015.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Miller; one son, Steve Horwedel; two brothers, Holly Green Jr. and John Green; and two infant sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Lori (and Bruce) McCreight of Brimfield; one son-in-law, Ken Miller of Coal City; one daughter-in-law, Donna Horwedel of Table Grove; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a farm wife and worked as a bookkeeper at FS.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church and PEO Sisterhood Chapter C.
Services were held Sunday at Vermont Christian Church with Mike Ulmer officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
