He was born May 11, 1958, in Havana, the son of Harold B. and Mary L. Green Horwedel. He married Donna Jean Bradley on June 14, 1980, in Vermont. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents; one son, Kris (and Jessica) Horwedel of Table Grove; one daughter, Brittany Horwedel of Table Grove; one stepdaughter, Cassandra (and Nick Wright) Schoonover of Ipava; two sisters, Linda (and Ken) Miller of Coal City and Lori (and Bruce) McCreight of Brimfield; and four grandchildren.
He worked at FS in Macomb in the IT Department. He also farmed with his dad as he grew up.
He was a member of Vermont Christian Church where he served on several committees and was an Elder. He started and maintained the Center Shot Archery Program at the church. He was a member of Table Grove Fire Department and EMS.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Vermont Christian Church with Pastor Dave Vandeman officiating. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
