Henry Hummer Of Table Grove Dies

Henry F. Hummer, 68, of Route 1, Table Grove, formerly of Astoria, died at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, 1976, at the Canton Nursing Center.

He was born in Astoria on Oct. 27, 1907, a son of Daniel and Mary Virginia Goodwin Hummer. He married Lillie Ames in Astoria on April 4, 1937. She survives.

Also surviving are five daughters, Mary of Burlington, Iowa, Mrs. Linda Conley of Fairmont City, Mrs. Rose Gamm of Lewistown, Mrs. Janet Desiderie of Cicero, and Mrs. Wilma Fitch of Bushnell, and three grandchildren.

One son and one sister preceded him in death.

Mr. Hummer was a member of the Woodland Church of the Brethren and was six years retired from carpentry and masonry work.

Private funeral services were conducted through Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery.
