Mrs. Chlora E. Huff, 84, of 1701 S. Kneer, Peoria, formerly of the Ipava and Summum area, died at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 1975, at the Nursing Center of Canton.
She was born in McDonough County on May 12, 1890, a daughter of Norman Thomas and Mary Susan Hipple Davis. She married Barton Welker Dec. 24, 1908. He died May 4, 1939. She then married Arch Huff Jan. 15, 1941. He died Oct. 1, 1954.
Surviving are one son, Don Welker of Ipava; one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Zoe) Gunzenheiser of Peoria; one stepson, Ronald Huff of Lewistown; one stepdaughter, Mrs. John (Doris) Blemler of Table Grove; 11 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Three daughters, two sons, two grandchildren and one brother preceded her in death.
Mrs. Huff was a member of Summum Christian Church and Lewistown Grandmother’s Club.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. Larry Manship and Rev. Scott Huson officiating. Burial was in the Ipava Cemetery.

Mrs. Chlora “Chlo” Huff died Tuesday morning in the Nursing Center of Canton where she had been the past few months.
