She was born Dec. 24, 1936, in Pekin, a daughter of Frank and Grace Strubhar Goulding. She married Phillip D. Groff on June 4, 1954, in Ipava. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2009.
She also was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Alexis Miller; one brother, Gene Eberle; and two sisters, Irene Heffren and Sharon Goulding.
Surviving are one son, Bob (and Marcia) Groff of Canton; two daughters, Pam Fugate of Industry and Lisa (and Ryan) Sullivan of Table Grove; one brother, Frank (and Judy) Goulding of Bushnell; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker. She also worked for Pioneer Seed Company as a sorter.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
