Ruby Violet Gobel, 75, of Higley, Ariz., formerly of Peoria and Lewistown, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, in Higley.
She was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Astoria, a daughter of Hiram and Bertha Hendee Malott.
Surviving are two daughters, Janie Howard of Greenwood, Ind., and Carolyn Miller of Higley; one sister, Doris Case of Peoria; three brothers, Harold Malott of Astoria, Clyde Malott and John Malott, both of Lewistown; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
One sister preceded her in death.
She was a retired apartment manager.
A memorial service was held Saturday at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Mesa, Ariz. Cremation was accorded. Melchers Mortuaries Mission Chapel in Mesa was in charge of arrangements.
