Mrs. Ada Gibble Of Astoria Dies

Mrs. Ada B. Gibble, 85, of Astoria, died at 11:05 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 26, 1980, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville.

She was born Mar. 29, 1895, near Astoria, the daughter of Ezra and Katherine Swigard Bowman. She married Addison S. Gibble on June 18, 1914, in Astoria.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, Stauffer Gibble of Richmond, Ind., and Russell Gibble of Macomb; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Beulah) Dohner of Vermont, Mrs. Maurice (Grace) Hartman of Macomb and Mrs. Eldon (Frances) Wright of North Manchester, Ind.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandsons; and one brother, Oliver Bowman of Astoria.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, three sisters and one brother.

She was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Astoria Church of the Brethren with Rev. Arlen Longanecker officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
