ANNA MAY (BUSBY) GRAFTON

Services Friday For Anna May Grafton

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Anna May Grafton, 88, of Rushville at 2 p.m. Friday at the Roby Funeral Chapel in Rushville. Rev. Donald Williams conducted the services and burial was in the Rushville Cemetery.

Mrs. Grafton died at her home, 209 Avenue A, at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 19.

Born May 21, 1881, to Joseph and Josephine Jennings Busby, she was a lifetime resident of Schuyler County. She married Jesse Grafton at Rushville, Jan. 13, 1901, and he died in 1955.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Pearl) Taylor of Rushville and Mrs. Marshall (Marietta) Shields of Astoria; three sons, Lester of Rushville, Archie of Avon and Robert of Peoria; six sisters, Mrs. Bess Rose of Keokuk, Iowa, Mrs. Nettie Lempky of Canton, Mrs. Josephine Groves of Canton, Mrs. Ada Walton of Canton, Mrs. Gladys Pearson of Oklahoma and Mrs. Hazel Ward of Macomb; three brothers, Clarence Busby of Griggsville, Harlan Busby of Canton and Henry Busby of Astoria; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, three sons and one daughter died previously.
