BONNIE E. (RUTH) FLEMING

Bonnie Fleming

Bonnie E. Fleming, 75, of Kenosha, Wis., formerly of Astoria, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1, 1995, at St. Catherine’s Hospital in Kenosha.

She was born March 12, 1920, in Astoria, a daughter of George W. and Cora A. Miller Ruth. She married Raymond A. Fleming in Keokuk, Iowa.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Fleming of Lacon and Larry Fleming of Rescue, Calif.; five daughters, Judy Swise of Canton, Karen Lawlor, Mary Schroeder and Suzan Fanning, all of Kenosha, and Luana Alderman of Delavan, Wis.; 18 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Charles Ruth of Rushville.

She was preceded in death by three daughters and five sisters.

She worked at the J.C. Penney Co. in Kenosha for 15 years. She was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria where visitation will be one hour before services. Gary Schultz will officiate. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
