Surviving are his parents of Indianapolis, Ind.; one brother, John, at home; and a grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Ruth of DeKalb.

Memorial services were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating.
