He was born Sept. 14, 1964, in Canton, a son of Richard and Linda Poppenhager Easley. He married Jill Oest on May 18, 2002, in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Josh Easley of Astoria and Jordan (and Kerri) Easley of Parker Heights, Texas; two daughters, Natalie (and Alec) McCombs and Karli Easley, both of Astoria; one sister, Shelley Saunders of Ocala, Fla.; two brothers, Jay Easley of Ocala, Fla., and Rich (and Deidra) Easley of Astoria; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Liam Easley; and one brother, Jeff Poppenhager.
He worked at Stevens Publishing in Astoria for several years. He also worked at Dot Foods in Mount Sterling, and most recently worked for the Village of Vermont.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Astoria Cemetery.
