Summum Man Dies At Brother's Home

Elmer E. Elliott, a resident of Summum during his entire life, died at the home of his brother Donald Elliott in Canton, Monday night. He had gone to Canton only last Saturday and was staying with his brother while receiving treatment for an illness which had extended over a period of a year.

He was born in Summum on November 20, 1872, the son of Elisha and Sigourney Hickle Elliott. He had lived at the place during his entire life and was never married.

Three brothers, Ernest of Summum, Luke of Lewistown, Idaho and Donald of Canton and two sisters, Mrs. Iva Welch of Havana and Mrs. Logan Wright of Macomb, survive. His mother, living at Summum, also survives.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Summum Christian church, with Rev. W. T. Nichols, officiating.
