Melba Lea Davis, 87, of Bardolph died at 4:25 p.m. Dec. 3, 2020, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Vermont, a daughter of Ernest and Grace Dutton Hopping. She married Donald Davis on Feb. 12, 1956, in Industry. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1997.
Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Minor and Clifford; and three sisters, Emma, Opal and Betty.
Surviving are two sons, Donald Lee of Marietta and William Blaine Davis of Bushnell; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She has resided in McDonough County most of her adult life. She worked at Macomb Kmart as personnel manager for 25 years. She retired, then worked part-time at Macomb Travel and the Everly Retirement Home.
Private graveside services were held Monday with Pastor Timothy Wayne officiating. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb was in charge of arrangements.
