She was born Jan. 19, 1931, a daughter of Russell and Velma Tyler Thompson. She married Donald Derry on Nov. 23, 1951, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on July 25, 1990.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Taylor.
Surviving are one son, Stephen Derry of Astoria.
She worked for the Ken-Ray Foundry in Vermont and for Astoria Fiber-Steel.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church and also attended Astoria Christian Church.
A graveside service was held Tuesday at the Summum Cemetery with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
