She was born July 16, 1933, in rural Summum, a daughter of Russell J. and Velma Tyler Thompson. She married Carroll Taylor on April 10, 1954, in Pittsfield. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, John (and Keri) Taylor of Peoria; one sister, Shirley Derry of Astoria; and two grandchildren.
She had worked as a bookkeeper for two car dealers and Mid Century Telephone.
She was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church.
Services were held Monday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Deryck Sonaram officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
