Janie A. Danner, 73, of Astoria died at 9:51 a.m. May 11, 2008, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born July 15, 1934, in Rushville, a daughter of Henry and Bonnie Bair McCombs. She married W. Leon Danner on July 6, 1952, in Astoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Donnie (and Carol) Danner and Ronnie (and Michelle) Danner, both of Astoria; five brothers, Lloyd McCombs of Astoria, Pat McCombs of Beardstown, Tony McCombs of Rushville, Jimmie McCombs of Astoria and Ted Bair of Tennessee; two sisters, Nancy Bair of Browning and Suzi Bair of Canton; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Brandi; and one sister, Judy Wright.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Astoria Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.
