Mildred (Schearer) Dicey, 73, a resident of Santa Monica, Calif., died Tuesday, July 23, 1996.
She was born Feb. 27, 1923, in Astoria, a daughter of Arthur and Nellie Carithers McCormick.
She is survived by two sisters, Margaret McLaughlin and Polly Wherley, both of Bloomington; and one brother, Robert McCormick of Springfield.
She worked as a waitress for 29½ years at the Galley Steak House, Santa Monica.
No services were held. Inurnment was at Chapel of the Pines. Gates, Kingsley and Gates Funeral Home, Santa Monica, Calif., was in charge of arrangements.
