Glenn Danner Dies Sunday

Glenn Danner, 84, of Vermont, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 1983 in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born Dec. 11, 1898, in Pleasant Township, Ipava, a son of Peter R. and Amanda Ellen (Parks) Danner. He married Iva Jane Hayes Aug. 2, 1924 in Rushville. She died Aug. 22, 1970.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Pauline) Ford of rural Vermont; four granddaughters, Mrs. Gwen Easley of Vermont, Dinah Ford of San Francisco, Mrs. Kathy Heller of Table Grove and Mrs. Cindy Francisco of Rushville; three great-grandchildren, Megan Easley and Cristin Easley of Vermont and Jared Heller of Table Grove; and one sister, Mrs. Inez Baldry of Astoria.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mrs. Savilla Wright.

Mr. Danner spent his early years in Astoria. His greatest joy was farming, which was his life long occupation. He lived on a farm west of Vermont forty-five years before moving to Vermont in 1975.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. this morning at the United Methodist Church in Vermont with Rev. Wilbur officiating.
