Randy ClaninRandy J. Clanin, 70, of Pekin died at 8:53 p.m. June 28, 2021, at Hallmark Healthcare in Pekin.

He was born July 5, 1950, in Pekin, the son of Charles and Norma Jean Beaird Clanin.

Surviving are one sister, Gloria (and Larry) Horner of Astoria; three nieces, Tammy Bollinger, Angela (and Bobby) Blickenstaff and Kisha Stambaugh, all of Astoria; three great nieces; three great nephews; and five great-great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company for 35 years, retiring in March of 2008.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1970-72 as a Military Policeman in White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.

He was a member of UAW Local 974.

A graveside service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Howard Cemetery in Smithfield with Pastor Darrin Fish officiating. Military Rites were provided by the Astoria American Legion Post #25. Cremation rites were accorded.
